Does this course meet Goal Area 4?This course meets the Liberal Education Goal Area 4 requirement. Students may enroll in this class upon earning a satisfactory score on a mathematics placement test or a grade of C- or better in MATH 113 or MATH 115.
What about late work?
If you experience difficulties and cannot meet a given deadline for legitimate reasons (e.g. health, computer issues, other items beyond your control) please reach out and communicate as soon as possible. Every circumstance will be different, but reasonable accommodation will be made when necessary.
What is with the Learning Assistants
We are very fortunate to have a Learning Assistant supporting our class this semester. They will help facilitate many of our team activities during class and with oral exams. They are a key resource to which you can turn to for help in addition to your instructor. They are also available in the tutor lab (see D2L for schedule).
Is tutoring available?
Yes. FREE tutoring is available. See D2L announcements for details.
Is there a specific time each day when items are due?
Yes. Daily Prep assignments will due when class begins. Expect 11:59 p.m. (Minnesota time) to be the deadline for electronic MOMwork assignments.
What if I need to take this course again in the future? (Multiple Repeats)
Students with two previous unsuccessful attempts in this course (defined by grades of D, F, W, FW, or FN) will need special permission in order to register again. That is, students will only be allowed a maximum of one repeat attempt in this course before needing to obtain special permission to register.
